The most important role at Day Camp!

What is a Huddle Leader?

Entering high school sophomore – College

Huddle leaders are responsible for a group of 7-10 campers. As a huddle leader, you’ll facilitate small group discussions, assist campers in sports clinics, engage campers at breaks, and escort them throughout the day of camp. You’ll also be in charge of the sign-out process at the end of the day. YOU have the MOST important job at camp!!

What is Junior Huddle Leader?

Entering High School Freshman

Junior huddle leaders assist huddle leaders and coaches throughout camp.

Application Due Date | Monday, June 5th, 2023

You’ll be notified by June 9th if you’ve been selected. Please be thorough and thoughtful in your responses! Being a huddle leader in the past does not guarantee acceptance this year. Parents – we want to get to know your student(s). Please do not apply for them. If you have any questions about the application process or about serving as a huddle leader, please contact Sara Hurst | shurst@fca.org.

Commitment and Application

Time Commitments

Leadership Training: Sunday, July 16th | 1:30 – 5:00 pm | Urbana High School
Camp: Monday, July 17th - Friday, July 21st | 7:00 am – 4:00 pm | Urbana High School

Leadership Training on Sunday, July 16th is required for ALL huddle leaders and junior huddle leaders.
