Area Representative

Coming to college as a student-athlete at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, I had never heard of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Throughout my collegiate career, I was able to get plugged into this ministry and experience the liberation of competing for Christ; not finding my identity in my sport. As my senior year of college was coming to an end, I felt called to full-time ministry. Being a Kinesiology major (the study of bodily movements), my passion is to maximize athlete’s abilities and minimize injury risk. I believe the greatest competitive edge for a coach or athlete is the free gift of Christ and the power we have through the Holy Spirit.

As a member of the United States National Team for Wheelchair Basketball, I have been blessed with the opportunity to compete at the highest level of my sport. I’ve learned that the “glory” of accolades and accomplishments doesn’t last. What doesn’t fade is God’s continual love for us. Through my testimony, I want coaches and student-athletes to experience that love; to continue to train and glorify God through their sport; to seek the trophy that is Eternal!

Originally from Pennsylvania, I have been blessed to be surrounded by an amazing family that continues to support and encourage me throughout my athletic and professional career! I am the co-leader of the U of I/Parkland college ministry, and oversee all the Jr. High School’s in the Illini Land FCA region! If I can serve you in anyway, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Dream Big. Pray Hard. Praise Him Often.

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”Acts 20:24
