Area Representative

I was raised in Mahomet, IL and ran track and field through college at Western Illinois University. I obtained my Bacholors in Education at WIU and taught High School English for three years. I then moved into a Higher Education Job at Gies College of Business.

At FCA, I want to share my love of God, grow my personal relationship with Christ and also strengthen the relationship of Christ in my community.

I grew up in a Catholic household and largely lived a worldly life until I was invited to attend Grace Church in Mahomet, IL  by my former track and field coach.  She has always been a mentor and a person I look up to.  I came to fully know Christ in early 2017 through the great teachers at Grace, joining small groups and volunteering. I found that my true identity is found in Christ.  FCA's mission aligns perfectly with what God is calling me to do: use my experience as a teacher, coach, and an athlete to transform and strengthen Coaches and Students relationship with Jesus Christ.

My husband Doug and I live in Champaign and have been married since 2019 , and we have one cat named Poe.  I enjoy spending time with family and friends while always keeping a busy schedule.  I am amazed and grateful at the work God has done in my life.  He has taken my love of Christ and sports and given me an opportunity to share that with Coaches and student-athletes.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
