I was raised in Mahomet, IL and ran track and field through college at Western Illinois University. I obtained my Bachelor’s in Education at WIU and taught High School English for three years before moving into a Higher Education at the Gies College of Business.

I grew up in a Cathlolic household and largely lived a worldly life until I was invited to attend Grace Church in Mahomet, IL by my former track and field coach. She has always been a mentor and a person I look up to. I came to fully know Christ in early 2017. Through the great teachers at Grace, joining small groups and volunteering, I found that my true identity is found in God. FCA’s mission aligns perfectly with what God is calling me to do: use my experience as a teacher, coach, and an athlete to impact coaches and athletes for Christ.

My husband Doug and I live in Champaign and have a cat named Poe. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and staying active. I am amazed and grateful at the work God has done in my life. He has taken my love for Christ and sports and given me an opportunity to share the best news ever with coaches and student-athletes. What a privilege!

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
