What is fca camp?
Since 2000, we've been providing entering 3rd – 8th graders in the community an incredible co-ed sports day camp experience completely free of charge in Champaign. In 2016, we expanded to a second camp in Urbana and have been hosting camp at Centennial and/or Urbana High School ever since. This summer, we're back at Urbana High School.
Day Camp typically draws between 700 - 1,000 campers and 150 volunteers from all walks of life. It's likely the most socially and racially diverse camp in Champaign County. Each day includes solid athletic training from local High School coaches & collegiate athletes, dynamic assembly speakers, and Biblical discussions led by high school FCA athletes this summer.
While camp is free to attendees, it actually costs approximately $75,000 in resources between facilities, planning, staffing, etc. In order to continue providing this awesome experience free of charge, we are looking for sponsors to fund this life-changing week.
